Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This is a working draft. Have counsel review before production launch. This document is provided for information only and is not legal advice.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Allison collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Allison website and service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways:

  • Account information you give us when you sign up — your name, business name, email address, and billing details.
  • Client contact information you upload so Allison can send reminders on your behalf — typically your customers’ names, phone numbers, and visit history.
  • Usage and message data generated as you use the service — the messages sent and received, delivery status, opt-out status, and basic product analytics.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information to provide the service: to send and manage text reminders, handle replies and opt-outs, process billing, provide support, keep the product secure, and improve how Allison works. We do not use your client lists to advertise other products.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or your clients’ information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run Allison, including:

  • Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and client data.
  • Vercel — our application hosting provider.
  • Messaging and payment processors as needed to deliver texts and process subscriptions.

These providers are bound to use your data only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and client data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal, tax, or compliance obligations (for example, opt-out records).

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Your clients may opt out of messaging at any time by replying STOP, and we honor those requests automatically.

6. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no “sale” to opt out of. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
